I try to host ads from pages that fit my personal beliefs / the message I'm putting out with this blog. I host ads for 30 day periods at no cost. Eventually, I might limit the amount of ad space available.

Currently, I'm trying to limit the ad space to shop owners only, but if you would like to advertise your personal or business blog, I am willing to swap. :)
